How to download and install debuginfo packages for CentOS?

In generally, we’d install packages by the command of “yum install <package-name>”; but I get the same error message no matter what tricks I tried.

# yum install debuginfo

Finally, I figure out a helpful way.

Firstly, get the target packages from through wget/curl.

# uname -a
Linux node2 3.10.0-693.el7.x86_64 #1 SMP Tue Aug 22 21:09:27 UTC 2017 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
# cat /etc/redhat-release
CentOS Linux release 7.4.1708 (Core)
# wget
# wget

Lastly, yum install them.

# yum install kernel-debuginfo-common-x86_64-3.10.0-693.el7.x86_64.rpm
# yum install kernel-debuginfo-3.10.0-693.el7.x86_64.rpm
